After a long hiatus, on account of the pandemic, The CDFG Committee members, regrouped face to face online via Google Meet with 100% attendance and the activity of conducting the proceedings of the meeting online for the first time was a welcome experience. Every committee member participated with the same jovial spirit and camaraderie (as that was done in person in the past) and the agenda was discussed with absolute enthusiasm and excitement.
A successful trial was conducted in the noon to checkup on the connectivity prior to the official meet in the evening and the proceedings of the final meet online were absolutely engaging without any hindrances. A novel experience indeed for the members as to how technology can overcome all adversities and continue the forums objectives with renewed zeal and foresight.
On the 2nd anniversary of the Grand Expo held in September 2019, the major highlight of the discussion, apart from the standard points, was the conducting of another Tech Expo this time in Panaji and plans have already been put in motion.
A shout out to all the members of CDFG to fasten their seat belts for another glorious journey ahead. The online Google meet ideas were proposed and successfully setup and co-ordinated by Mr. Simon Fernandes of C-LIBZ for everyone to interact via the virtual world
